Travel in a new classic: The Belmond Andean Explorer

Traversing the Andes onto the Andean plateau in Peru by luxury train is not something you experience every day. The Andean Explorer takes you from the mystical Cusco, the navel of the world, to Puno in elegance and comfort. It also brings travelers close to nature, as it has an observation coach from which you can enjoy the majestic scenery encountered along the way.

The route is one of the most beautiful in the world and the trip lasts almost 11 hours. Between Wanchaq station and Puno, the train includes dining cars designed after the fashion of the Pullman cars of the 1920s. A gourmet lunch is served, with drinks, music and moments of infinite peace. This train was awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2015 and won the World Travel Awards 2012 as South America’s Leading Luxury Train.
