What will we do?

Visit Casona San Marcos, a cultural center and historical building where different artistic expressions such dance, theater, music, among others are performed. The visit begins with an explanation of the past and present of this remarkable place and its surrounding areas. After this, characters from the colonial era form a staging and interact with visitors. Meanwhile, appreciate their beautiful garments. Later, the guide will explain the origin and tradition of Afro-Peruvian dance, and then you will enjoy a performance by professional dancers. Finally, participate in a brief lesson to learn the basic steps of this typical dance.

Local artists, entrance to Casona San Marcos, specialised guide in Spanish, traditional instruments and English &  snacks.
