Cusco: The ancient Inca capital is a mixture of pre-Columbian ruins and Spanish colonial architecture.



Coricancha: One of the most famous, revered and respected temples in the city of Cusco, originally known as Inti Kancha ('Temple of the Sun') is the Inca temple on which the Convent of Santo Domingo was built.



Sacsayhuaman: This emblematic Inca construction was built by the Inca Pachacutec in the 15th century. It is an immense fortress built with large stones, whose transfer it is still a mystery.



Machu Picchu: The 'Lost City of the Incas' is hidden on top of an Andean peak. It offers not only views of the mountain range, but also the Inca past.

Itinerary


  • Day 2 | Cusco – City tour and Archaeological sites


    Upon arrival at the airport in Cusco, a vehicle transfers you to your hotel. The city tour in Cusco starts at Coricancha, built by Inca Pachacutec and at the arrival of the Spaniards became the basis for the construction of the Santo Domingo Convent. You will continue your tour to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the archeological site of Quenqo and Puka Pucara which means "Red Fortress".

  • Day 3 | Cusco – Ollanta Station - Machu Picchu – Ollanta station - Cusco


    Your tour to Machu Picchu begins with a train ride to Aguas Calientes, the last stop before entering the remains of the most important archaeological site in Peru. After a short transfer by bus you will reach the lost city of the Incas: Machu Picchu. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then head back to Cusco.

  • Day 4 | Cusco – International departure


    After breakfast, a transportation service and guide will pick you up from your hotel at the established time and transfer you to the airport.
