Explore the jungle of Puerto Maldonado and meet its endless wildlife, either through its trails or cruising the Madre de Dios River. Discover the rich biodiversity of the Tambopata National Reserve and observe the Peruvian Amazon from the treetops through an amazing network of suspension bridges. Enjoy lunch with organic ingredients and native flavors at arrival to Hacienda Concepcion. After lunch, take a walk through the trails around the hotel, where you will discover and learn about the rainforest and its relevance for the world. In the evening enjoy a nice dinner in the main dining room.
After breakfast, head to Lake Sandoval and see a great amount of biodiversity. Lunch at the lodge and head to the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway & Anaconda Walk. Ascend one of the two 98-foot towers (30 m.) and cross the 7 hanging bridges that connect the treetops at 91 ft. high (28 m.) Dinner at the lodge during the afternoon.
After breakfast visit the Native Farm and Botanical Garden to learn local techniques of cultivation, taste some of the products and explore the world of medicinal plants. After lunch get ready for the Cocha Pond excursion on the canoe. Participate in the INLAND COLLPA during the evening, see different species and their night routines by observing through our “blinds”.
After breakfast, take a ride back to Puerto Maldonado by outboard motorized canoe. Be transfer to the airport.
